hidoko x Jara interview
topic: laruku fanfics c/w
Jrock fanfics.
hidoko- h.
Jara- J.
h:- how do you do, Jara.
J:- I am fine thank you. I want
to thank you for taking asking me here. How are you?
h:- Milady, I'm fine too. Today
we shall discuss the notion of..*ahem* laruku fanfics.^^
J:- *smiles* Oh I love laruku
fanfics.
h:- Thanks for your opinion,
buttttt...^^; it's not the only thing I wanna talk about... *ahem* but
to start off, which ones do you like? ^^
J:- Are you asking which fics
I like or which pairings?
h:- Whichever you choose to
speak on.^^;
J:- Well to begin with I would
like to say that my favorite laruku pairing is Tetsu and Hyde. My second
favorite pairing is Yukihiro and Sakura.
h:- :DDDDD whyyyy? ^^ We all
know that not everyone would have thought of yukki and sakura.. ohohohohohohohooooo...*cough*
*ahem*
J:- I am not sure myself. I
think that as a couple there they have a lot of possibilities.
h:- *ahem* who introduced that
possibility to you?
J:- Well a very talented writer.
She wrote this fic about how Sakura sadisticly trampled over Yukihiro's
feelings. Making the vulnerable Yuki fall in love with him and then throw
his fragile love right back into his face. It was so sad. I really wanted
to kick Sakura's ass after reading that fic.
h:- Uhhhhm.... ^^; She did it
just by torturing yukki and making someone hate sakura? isnt that biasedness?
J:- I think so. Because she
could have easily made Yukihiro the bad guy in the story. Made Sakura the
vulnerable one, and Yukihiro the villain who wanted to gloat his new status
over Sakura.
h:- Oooohhhhh...what do you
think made her not do it? But then again, Sakura seems like the kind to
kill yukki if he ever did bully S, doesnt he?
J:- Well it would depend on
the writers feelings. I am not sure. Maybe she wanted to explore a dark
side to Sakura. Discover or learn if would work, which she did. She also
tried her hand at making Yukihiro a villain. That was a remarkle work in
despair, lunacy with at touch of lucidity, and jealousy. I was astounded
by how realistic Yukihiro's journey into madness was written. It sent shivers
down my spine, yet it made me feel sympathy for him.
h:- hmm, do you think it takes
lunatics to write good stuff? I mean, healthy people claim that they wish
that they are depressed and all. What's your views?
J:- "normal" is an abstract
word.. Human beings are complicated people. What one man/woman would call
"normal" another would call "strange, wierd, crazy" It is all a matter
of perception.
h: (did I talk about 'normal'?)
There's a certain set cast for "normal" already, like using right/left
hands to write, or using the right/left brains to think. Most of us never
even think about the way our PCs work, instead of how it SHOULD work. *poke*
stick to the topic.
J:- :P ok. Then no. I dont think
a person has to be crazy to write such dark things. I dont think a person
is a sexual fiend if all he writes about is sex scenes or lemons. Writing
is a healthy outlet for emotions, ideas, frustations. I myself have written
a dark type fic and I dont consider myself crazy, but then again most lunatics
don't think they are insane. ^__^
h:- hehehheee.... yeah, we all
know that. ^_~ So what kind of writer do you consider yourself to be?
J:- Me, I think I'm a fluff
writer. My stuff, what I do post( or finish for that matter). Is usually
light. I'm strictly amateur.
h:- Souuuka. so what do you
consider professional in fanfic-dom, if there's such a thing?
J:- Well, to me it's writers
who put writers who I think really put a lot of thought into their writing
wether it be comedy or angst are professionals even though they don't get
paid for it. People's who's work makes me feel along with the character,
get lost within the story that when it ends I feel bereft and lost because
I wanted it to last longer.
h:- Is there any such work which
makes you feel so specifically?
J:- Loreley's DEG fics always
have that special touch of romance and desire to them. Hidoko's fics
are my sure getaway into madness and the darkness of the human soul. Vanilla
Mint's Lemons always leave me yearning for a tall tall oold glass of lemonade
to cool off my thirst. They are the top three of my favorite authors.
h:- *gives you a cookie*
J:- cookies! *munch* any..*munch,
munch* more?
h:- >:P no you glutton. What
have you to say about the fanfiction scene right now for Laruku fanfic
scene? And yeah, jrock...
J:- Well sadly, there are few
fanfics out there about laruku. English ones that is. At the moment the
Jrock trend is DEG and Pierrot fics, save for a few select writers who
are laruku loyalists. I want more Tetsuxhyde lovin'.
h:- How true. Would you agree
that hidoko Matsumoto is a major loyalist in that scene and needs some
DEG theraphy? I mean, she seems to be the only one who hasnt written anything
flattering for the majority of the readers, who do seem to prefer reading
DEG and such.
J:- No. I do not think she needs
DEG therapy. You can not force a person to write about something that is
not in her heart. For hidoko Matsumoto, her heart is filled with laruku.
They are what make her complete and happy. Their music is what fills her
soul.
h:- lol, how do you know that
it's the music and not their H? :p
J:- i have no real way to answer
that. It is more of a gut feeling. It is the way she writes them. The care
she gives them.
h:- ^^;; I'm sure she'll feel
flattered. Uhm.....I'm sleepy...so we'll switch places, ne?^^; interview
meeee
J:- :p. Ok.. Lemme think?
