J:- Hello today we will be interviewing fanfic writer hidoko Matusoto. Thank you for granting me this interview. ^_^

h:- ^^ why, it should be mine utmost honour.

J:- *bows* You are most kind. I would like to start this interview with a question I am sure you have been asked countless of times. What drives you to write about Laruku? What is so special about this group that you center your writings around them?

h:- Actually,  no one asked so, so you got the novelty of being the first.^^*pause, looks ponderous*
hmmm. I would say that it's because my life is centered around them, more or less. Everything in my life is unrelated through anything but through _me_, and it so happens that I love Laruku so much that I start to see everything through them. Writing is a good way of self-expression and such, and I choose to write.
In the process, Laruku fiction is churned out.  As for what's so special... I think it's the music that the band creates, leading towards the band itself. I believe in alternate dimensions, so the fact that they are being alive dont alter me, and neither do the fact that they wouldn't like being slashed budge me the slightest bit. I think it's self-relation and love.

J:- *smiles* I suspected thier music was a very big part. You write wonderfully dark fictions. So dark sometimes that a reader might wonder just how sane ( or insane) you really are. Would you like to clarify this for our readers? What moves you to write this way?

h:- Uhhhm, towards this I would quote my A Math teacher, Mr Chan, for his ingenious speech as to whether I should drop A Math-> "Your mind works in a totally different way."
I don't think it's dark, but compared to those happy sappies out there, I suppose. ^^; I think it happens to be a biiit twisted, but that's all. Mainly because if you look at things from all angles, analyze it, and you think about the way things work- it all adds up to the fact that humans are distorted.
Now quoting Manson- who is to say that insanity is not the ultimate enlightenment?
I dont think I'm insane, I think I'm saner than the rest of the others. But at the same time, it only depends on the scope of our views. What moved me was... Uhm, I have no idea. I think... Influences, I suppose, of the outer world and intrinsic thoughts. And such. Their songs especially play a big part. And of course- my belief of alternate realities existing like another life.

J:- ah. *nods*  One of my favorite fics is Kurayami. It was such a dark and twisted story. Where did you get the idea for portraying Yukihiro as a villain with a morbid unrequited love?

h:- If you must know, this friend of mine named Jara said, "Go ahead, write it", which actually led me to write it. Blame her.^_~ There's no idea involved, actually, except some sort of imagery which sprung in my mind. As for morbid unrequited love, too many cases of it has happened, just whether we act out or not. This fiction is a reality gone insane; things -have- happened like this, in another form. Although I think different cases vary, anyway this fic in itself is more idealistic.

J:- Well it was incredible. Tell me what is your opinion about the shortage of laruku fics out there?

h:- It takes guts to say this, so gimme some credit- that the jrock fanfiction fandom sucks overall. It's gone the route of pop music in its own way, bleh.

J:- It seems there is no variety. I am not saying there are no good writers, becuase there are, but it seems centered on certain groups. Do you think it will change?

h:- It seems that people will go to indies bands, and I can wager that no matter how it changes, it will remain stagnant.

J:- What do you see as a stagnant? Would you care to illustrate?

h:- Not really; the scene itself shows itself as stagnant. But to not be an asshole, I shall illustrate my point: everyone says, "I love this fic!" and people get the idea that ohhh, this kind is _good_, so they tend to write about the same things, without using their brains to say anything special. Of course, it applies to trend, no sweeping statements intended.

J:- hm. good point. I guess all we can do is hope more inovative writers like yourself come upon the scene.  Tell me do you have any favorite writers?

h:- Those whom I know best are my favorites. besides angel and hirai, who write very well.

J:- Angel? Is she the writer who wrote those wonderful graphic hide fics? The work in progress DEG fic?

h:- hey, notice that the three writers whom I like never use caps in the first alphabets of their names?

J:- hahaha..no.

h:- well- you know now.^^; it does get irritating to see my name starting off with a ladder.

J:- hahahhaha.. I guess it's too late to change it. :P I read part what you have written for Taste of Love, do you have any idea when it will be finished?

h:- no idea.^^; at the rate it's going, it'll take 20 years. If I dont die from pneumonia, cancer, or tumors.

J:- hahaha..ok.. well this concludes our interview. hidoko any parting words for our readers?

h:- Please give constructive comments as to why you like a fiction, or if you dont have anything to say, shut up. Dont mislead people, but when you do give something valuable, it's really appreciated. I mean, the authors gave you a piece of their brains, fried golden brown. You should contribute once in a while at least, you glutton pig.

J:- *smiles* Well readers there you have it. Thank you for joining us and we look forward to reading more of your works. Goodbye.

h:- See you. ^^
