Sept 09 2000: 

The next track is The Nepenthes, which has a cool start. Not much special to me, just a cool rock song. The style reminds me of Love Flies. Actually, it's Hyde's vocals here which reminds me of Love Flies. ^^; There's the cool guitar solo, whatnot, and is really cool. (that DOESNT help! hahah^^;) Basically, it feels like the name I guess... mm I mean. ..yeah. numbed pain.

Neo Universe. ..
it's a more relaxed version of the single song. It's basically a happy song, which feels like. ..uhm. a new universe? everything is new and all that crap. I like this version better than the single.

next.
Bravery is a really .. .. more relaxing song than Neo Universe. It's nothing new in style yet again.. .to me.
But then again I like the lyrics alot.
This song is a very special song.. ..Like Dive to Blue. 
I think this song. .. .sounds like the sky. The soaring in the sky. Basically it is Tetsu's style.. .you can almost hear Tetsu's heart in it. ^^; I still like Tetsu's songs better.. .(biased! haha)

Love Flies.. .
It's a new style for L'Arc I think. Theres' not a song like it before, at least none that brings out the same feeling.
My thoughts are tainted by the PV anyway. It's a really cool pv.
It's not a very happy song for me. Another of hyde's style when writing lyrics is that he never writes a true love song until the last track of this album, so. .. 

Then it is Finale.
Finale is a really deep, floating song. It feels like you're floating and floating and floating forever in the vast sea.
I like the guitar alot. The distortion.. .whatnot.. .Basically it pieces into one big scenery which is enhanced by hyde's voice. The background music alone leads your emotions, not Hyde's voice. It's like an adornment which feels right in place. It's written by Tetsu. ..Not Tetsu's usual style. I wonder when he wrote it? It wasnt when Neo Universe was scheduled to be released.
*laughs* and if you sing this song in the train, it will make the train sound huanted.
Oh. And the ending of this song .. ..reminds me of the a part of the last track of Manson's album Mechanical Animals when it was ending and fading. *laughs* No one agrees with me. Maybe no one wants to, or maybe I am just wrong.

Stay Away.
I like this song. Again *laughs* It's basically a rebellious song; upbeat, but laden by hyde's vocals and the melody. Somehow it's upbeat but it's not. It will depend on the listener. As you can tell, I am not that happy a person, so.. .
This time, they actually use the slowing down of the song in a part of the song. ... To create an effect of .. ..emphasis. But it only lasts a moment. Which makes it better, because the feeling of it is that "You're always irritating me! Staaaaaaay away!" kinda. And the image worserns with the gradual building up of emotion, so I like it.

Route 666.
It's heavier. Not as heavy as the Nepenthes, but its' heavier. The style. .. mmm.. .. it sounds . ... westernized. Hyde's singing style here... .sounds. ... .. .. .*dies* sounds like he's trying to sound cool. ^^;; ; The background music makes it better... .As it progresses to the guitar solo. *smiles*
and then it starts to sound cool instead of 'trying'.

Time Slip. ..
the feeling of relaxation takes in again. 
When I listen to this song, I think Laruku's songs really set all pains free.. .and all. I'm thinking of a friends' words. And Im typing this when I listen.
The interesting part comes in with this small bridge. 
Anyhow the whole song feels like.. .everything will pass by, and the sun will rise, and. ..  this song's good to sleep to. And since I feel really crappy right now, this song seems to make my heart hurt more. hmm. It makes me feel, I guess. I dont think for me it will pass by, but this song seems to give all hurt wings.

a silent letter.
Not silent. *laughs* duhhhhh. L'arc is no hide. (aint letters silent tho? ^^; except voicemail.. .)
but it reminds me of Garasu dama. The serene feeling like a calm lake, with moonlight shining on it... This gives that feeling.
It reminds me of the cover of the album, the clear blue sky, the gargoyles and all. A nice ballad.. ..nice to slow dance to.^^;
It kinda uses the same effects as Finale, but the entire ambience is different.
Although different, it still doesnt erase that floating feeling, as if you can melt into half-existence with the music. (but then again, you're hearing this from a person who wants to disappear. hmm.)

All Year Around Falling In Love
this song.. .. Kay. I was scared when I first heard the title. And hyde was saying that this song is what he calls a 'true love song'. ^^; I dont feel love from this song. The background music hints flowers blooming and all, everything's new, but I dont feel much from hyde's vocals. 
But once reaching the chorus, there's a slight pain in my heart. Dunno. :P I have a hunch I just cant feel it. I think it sounds a bit cliqued too, or maybe it's just that my brains cant work this way. To be honest, in Hyde's vocals, I can't feel anything but pain from it except in a certain song. I forgot which. Talking about technical terms, I think hyde's vocals really stretches it this time. ^^; Doesnt sound quite as good with his range in this one... .due to a certain note and a lack of flexibility there.

and right. ^^; after all my cynical thoughts, I still love Laruku! Damnit!
