I was very surprised when I read the lyrics of White Feathers, because what I was writing was named after it, and somehow one way or the other it will turn out as the title is. (O_o) 

White Feathers, the song is about... .
It is similar to Hyde's story in Siesta. It paints a very beautiful imagery, the painter with a tied-up bird. And then the painter (I assume, either the bird or the painter but most likely the painter ^^;) fell from the sky, realizing that he's like the tied-up bird, things are out of his reach. My thoughts of it is that it is a comparison of this gesture to reality... .

I wonder, what Hyde was trying to symbolize the sky as? Freedom? Something divine? Perhaps love? Or maybe these are bound similarly. .... Ah well, confusing isn't it ^^;
